To support the children, the head of the Donetsk region police Nikolai Semenishin, together with the interim chief of the Mariupol police Vitaly Bortnyuk, visited the kids of the center. The guests did not come empty-handed – they brought sports equipment as a gift. The police invited the “pilgrims” to Urzuf village (sea resort), where everyone can not only relax on the seaside, but also play football.
During the conversation with the management of the Center, the head of the regional police noted that sports contributes not only to the physical development of a child, but also to his socialization and adaptation in society. Involving young people in sports events will not only provide them with useful leisure and a healthy lifestyle, but will also help them feel involved in the cause, the designated goal – to win. Another pleasant surprise for the kids will be a visit to the rehabilitation center of dog handlers and their four-legged friends.
Gennadiy Mokhnenko, the head of the Charity Fund “Pilgrim”, made for the police a tour around the children’s rehabilitation center. He spoke about the peculiarities of the educational system introduced into the center’s activities, which provides for a full-fledged educational process based on an individual approach to each student. So, over the 19 years of the center’s existence, more than 4,000 children have undergone rehabilitation, who later found their place in society.
