Despite of the tension of the last few months and heard shootings, the life in Republic Pilgrim is going on. To prove to it the special holiday took place dedicated to the farewell with the autumn. The children of Pilgrim took a very active part in the process of preparation for the event, starting with setting of the hall and preparing quite serous pieces of drama that have become a visit card of the children’s republic. Each of the kids with their performances wanted to bring joy and to cheer up the guests and there were quite a few of them.

The citizens of Republic Pilgrim were warmly greeted and hospitably received in the Western Ukraine. They could stay in a comfortable place and were temporarily enrolled in the local public school. But it is known that nothing is as sweet as home, surely they missed Pilgrim and Mariupol. Besides during the evacuation it was hard for the workers of Pilgrim to help those who needed help in Mariupol while all the kids were so far away. The calls with the requests to help were rather frequent.

The concentration of the military equipment around Mariupol and the firing in the eastern part of the city made the pilgrims urgently to leave the walls of the center “Republic Pilgrim”. In the last day of the summer right in the middle of the night under emergency the evacuation was organized once again. All the Pilgrims kids alongside with the kids fostered by the families from the fund “Pilgrim” left the city.

The last, 4th stage of the worldwide bike action “World without orphans” that was going through the whole Russia has been completed. Starting with the year 2011 the partakers of the action have overcome the distance of 9320 miles. In July 30th the bikers arrived in the furthest point of Eurasian continent – the city of Vladivostok. These days the last participants of the action have come back to Ukraine to start getting ready for the next stage of the worldwide trip.

Vladivostok has become the final destination point of all- Russian bike trip “Russia without orphans”. On Wednesday, July 30th the third stage has been completed – with the marathon along the street of the corner capital.

Today in the adaptation center at the Charity Fund “Pilgrim” over 50 migrants from hotspots of the East of Ukraine. The fund actively takes part in the help to the refugees since hundreds of people come to Mariupol from Lugansk and Donetsk area. Because of the war actions in the east of Ukraine many people get killed from bombing and shootings of living quarters, many of them lose their relatives, children become orphans, more and more people  are left without roof under their head, they have no possibility to provide their needs and even simply to defend themselves. Those who managed to leave their place where there is the war zone now have almost nothing along. 

“Russia without orphans” is a bike project of a great scale and it has occupied practically the whole country. The former street kids alongside with their new parents ride bikes along the route throughout the world. And the day before in July 28th the participants of the action paid a visit to Ussuriisk

In July 21st the team of the bike action solemnly entered the city of Khabarovsk. For our heroes it was already a symbol of the start of the finish line. The last 500 miles are perceived as a done deal. However it is still a huge athletic feat and there were 30 public events to do with the action in cities and towns of the Primorsky Krai, Ussuriisk and Vladivostok.

The former street kids from Mariupol are ready to conquer the next 3000 miles to convey their dream – “world without orphans”. This stage will be from the Baikal Lake up to the furthest point of Eurasian continent – in the city of Vladivostok.
