The morning has started with a remarkable event: the official opening of the well in the Christian orphanage, it was dug and installed due to the offering of the church from a Russian city Oryol! You just can’t look quietly at this view! The price of it is health and life of many kids who will now drink not of the awfully dirty and miry pond but from the real clean well!

We woke up like in a paradise, I can’t describe in other words the place in jungles among the fantastic choir of outlandish birds. It feels like we could pass by an angel by the gate of Paradise and enter it!!! But after an hour of some instruction and breakfast we hit the road.

3 countries, 3 airports (Donetsk, Istanbul, Nairobi), 11 hours in the car ( 2 of these hours we were under arrest by local traffic police) and in total in 32 hours , we reached the destination. Kitale ( Kenya) not far from the border with Uganda.

On August 29 team of the bike tour “Russia and the world without orphans” left the Syzran. As we wrote, on the way there happen a little trouble, Pastor Gennadiy fell ill, after that we had to call an ambulance. Medics took Gennadiy to the hospital in Togliatti, where he was diagnosed and treated. Today Gennadiy Mokhnenko feels much better, but still, will continue until the path is not a bike, but in the van.

Continues the bike action “Russia and the world without orphans.” Leaving Penza, participants headed to a new city Kuznetsk. Struggling with the weather, the rain guys rode about 80 kilometers. The road was very difficult and only eight most persistent guys drove that day until their final destination, others were forced to diver in the vans.
It is because of bad weather, the team had an unplanned stop in the village Chaadaevka where, with the help of the Minister of Education of the Penza region, children were placed in a local school. Special maternal care showed director of Chaadaev School.

International cycling race “Russia without orphans” – is not just an outreach campaign, but former orphans themselves, children who are now in foster homes, made a desiccation to do

From 23 August to 13 September, a group of cyclists is going to overcome the 1,600 km on roads of Russia. Former street and now adopted children, children from the center of children’s rehabilitation “Republic” Pilgrim “led by Pastor Gennadiy Mokhnenko, father of 31 adopted kids, carry the main slogan of the unprecedented action – “Every orphan has to have a family”. For the sake of this cause participates of this action are ready to pedal and inspire couples around the world to adopt.

The team from the partner churches of the U.S. state of North Carolina has long been not only partners but also good friends for the children and staff of the center of children’s rehabilitation “Republic Pilgrim”. For more than six years Chernous family with their children and friends leave everything and come to Ukraine to take the time for children of “ Republic Pilgrim”, where for many years they are honorary citizens. 


Nizhniy Novgorod was visited by an unusual delegation of cyclists, according to RTR “Nizhniy Novgorod”. All of them – foster fathers and their adopted children, in total more than a hundred people. This bike tour was launched in the framework of “A world without orphans.” At the head of the this action was a pastor of the church in Mariupol and founder of the largest in the former Soviet Union rehabilitation center for children “Republic Pilgrim” – Gennady Mokhnenko – adoptive father dozens of children. On June 5 the bike tour begun to move from Kiev and finally they reached a Novgorod’s land. The correspondent of the program “Vesti – Volga region” saw how these sports families with children were welcomed in the capital of Volga region.

June 14 the team of “A world without orphans” had reached Tula, the correspondent of “TBN “. One of the planned actions was to hold a press conference on issues adoption.
